When the chief guest, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee accidentally addressed Jang Group's Shahrukh Hasan as Shahrukh Khan, he brought the house down, TOI said while reporting Tuesday's inaugural session's proceedings.
When he (Mukherjee) realised his mistake, he was profusely apologetic saying, "You know Shahrukh Khan is very popular here. Though I am not much of a movie buff, it sort of slipped out," to gales of laughter.
Later when Hasan got up to ask a question to the keynote speaker, Infosys Chairman N R Marayana Murthy, he sportingly said, "This is Shahrukh Khan here."
