Change the aggressive and masculine flag lowering ceremony at Attari/Wagah and design it in such a way that it promotes peace; 6. Encourage people-to-people contact and liberalise the visa regime; 7. Open Consulates in Mumbai and Karachi.

The letter was signed by Mahesh Bhatt, Jatin Desai, Mazher Hussain, Varsha R Berry, Sukla Sen, Asad Bin Saif, Dhananjay Tripathi (India), Karamat Ali, BM Kutty, Dr AH Nayyar and Zulfiqar Shah.
